Usage Guidelines of Imazapyr
Application Timing:
- Post-Emergence: Effective against sedges, annual and perennial monocots, and broadleaf weeds.
Application Rates:
- Industrial Areas: 0.25–2.5 kg/ha.
- Rubber Plantations: 0.125–1.0 kg/ha.
Winter Application Tips
- Choose Warm, Sunny Days: Apply when temperatures are higher to enhance insecticide effectiveness.
- Adjust Dosage: Increase dosage slightly in colder temperatures, but generally not more than 50% above the standard rate.
- Select Winter-Appropriate Herbicides: Use herbicides that are effective at lower temperatures and be patient for results.
- Extend Safety Interval: Ensure a longer safety interval between application and harvest due to slower degradation rates.
- Dilution Accuracy: Adhere to recommended dilution rates and avoid excessive or insufficient water use.
