Bentazone herbicide
Bentazone 480 g/L SL is a selective, contact post-emergence herbicide designed for treating broadleaf and sedge weeds in crops like rice, soybeans, peanuts, and wheat. Effective against broadleaf weeds and sedges, it is applied during the seedling stage. Bentazone is not effective against grass weeds and can be used safely in various crops, including corn, fava beans, potatoes, tea plantations, and lawns.
Mode of Action:
Bentazone works by inhibiting the photosynthesis process in target plants, disrupting their ability to produce energy, which leads to weed death. It specifically affects the photosystem II pathway.
