Mode of Action
Dinotefuran and Pymetrozine are insecticides that work together to provide a dual mode of action. Dinotefuran, a neonicotinoid insecticide, acts on the insect’s nervous system by binding to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors. This disrupts neural transmission and results in paralysis and death of the target pests. Pymetrozine, on the other hand, disrupts feeding behavior by targeting the chordotonal organs, leading to rapid cessation of feeding and eventual death.
By combining these two active ingredients, the product offers both fast-acting and long-lasting control. It not only kills existing pests but also prevents further feeding damage.
