Acifluorfen is absorbed through the stems and leaves of weeds and is not taken up by roots in the soil. Additionally, it is easily broken down by microorganisms, making it unsuitable for soil treatments and safe for soybeans. It effectively controls broadleaf weeds and is suitable for soybean fields.
Acifluorfen
Acifluorfen 21.4% sl is a post-emergence selective herbicide that controls broadleaf weeds such as Copperleaf, Amaranth, Ragweed, Mustard, Lambsquarters, Wild Watermelon, Melon, Jimsonweed, Morning Glory, members of the Asteraceae and Rubiaceae families, Smartweed, Pennsylvania Smartweed, and Spiderflower.
Application Method
- Timing: During the 1-3 compound leaf stage of soybeans when broadleaf weeds are 5-10 cm tall.
- Dosage: Use 50-75 mL of 21.4% SL per mu (667 m²), mixed with 25 kg of water, and uniformly spray on the weed stems and leaves.
Precautions
- Optimal Application Stage: Apply before the third compound leaf stage of soybeans to avoid reduced efficacy and increased risk of phytotoxicity.
- Environmental Conditions: Do not use under adverse conditions such as drought, flooding, excessive fertilization, high soil salinity, alkaline soils, wind damage, frost damage, low temperatures, or when soybeans are stressed by other herbicides, diseases, or pests.
- Phytotoxicity: Application may cause slight burning, yellowing of soybean seedlings, and increased injury under high temperatures. However, mild phytotoxicity typically resolves in a few days without impacting soybean yield.
